PGL Major Antwerp 2022 will be held without COVID-19 restrictions for spectators

During the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 there will not be any restrictions related to pandemic coronavirus for spectators present at the tournament venue. This was announced by the organizers of the World Championship on their Twitter, without specifying information on possible testing or vaccination requirements for the teams.

The prestigious championship will take place from May 9 to 22 in Antwerp, Belgium. The playoff matches will be hosted by Antwerp's Sport Palace, an 18,000-seat arena with fans in attendance.

The upcoming majors will feature 24 teams. The event will start with the Challengers Stage, followed by the Legends Stage and Champions Stage. The total prize pool will be $1 million - half of that sum will go to the winner.

Recall that on March 15, PGL announced the sale of tickets for the World Championship, the cost of which varies depending on the day and the category of the ticket itself from €35 to €295. Since the publication of the announcement about the start of sales, the company has not reported on the number of tickets sold.
